Delta Arc consulting capability

Industrial market intelligence built for machinery and manufacturing decisions

Bronto connects equipment specifications, pricing observations, ownership context, production requirements, market demand and channel structure into usable commercial intelligence.

The operating problem

From fragmented industrial data to market intelligence you can defend

Industrial markets are fragmented across OEMs, distributors, resellers, public listings, service networks and individual operator knowledge. Delta Arc organizes those fragments without pretending a single data source tells the whole story.

What the work covers

Four layers, kept separate on purpose

Industrial market intelligence fails when the layers get flattened into a single number, and industrial analytics for a market this fragmented is only as good as the evidence underneath it. These are held apart so a claim can be traced to the evidence that supports it.

01 · THE EQUIPMENT

What the machine is.

Specification, configuration, control, capability and the options that change what it can hold or hit. Two machines with the same model designation are routinely not the same asset.

02 · THE MONEY

Asking price is not realized price.

What a seller advertises, what a unit transacts at, and the gap between them are three different facts. Conflating them is the most common error in this market, and it is the one that makes a valuation indefensible.

03 · THE INSTALLED BASE

What is already in service.

Who owns what, how old it is, where replacement cycles sit, and which operators have a reason to move now rather than eventually.

04 · THE CHANNEL

Who actually controls access.

OEMs, distributors, dealers, resellers, auction houses, riggers and service networks. The party who influences the decision is often not the party who takes the order.

Evidence standard

Every number carries its source and its date

An industrial market figure without a date is an anecdote. Equipment markets move on replacement cycles, lead times, tariffs and used supply, so a price observation from eighteen months ago describes a different market than today's.

  • Each observation records where it came from and when it was seen.
  • Asking, negotiated and realized figures are labelled as what they are, never averaged into one number.
  • Where evidence is thin, the gap is stated rather than filled with an estimate.
  • A claim that cannot be traced to a dated source does not get published.

Delta Arc has built this discipline end to end before in another vertical: an independent industrial equipment reference where every published figure carries the source and the date it came from. The same standard applies here.

Expected outcomes

What the engagement is designed to produce

  • A clearer view of market structure and commercial opportunity
  • Defensible machinery and pricing context
  • Connected OEM, distributor, reseller and end-user intelligence

Questions

What Bronto investigates

  • Where is equipment demand forming and why?
  • How do new, used and installed-base signals relate?
  • Which channel participants influence the buying decision?
  • What evidence supports a value or market claim?

Working outputs

What can be built

  • Industrial market map
  • Equipment and company taxonomy
  • Pricing and listing observation model
  • Channel and partner intelligence
  • Market development operating plan

Frequently asked questions

Questions this work should answer

Which industrial markets does Delta Arc cover?

The work can span machine tools, fabrication, automation, additive manufacturing, metrology, material handling, construction equipment and the services surrounding equipment ownership.

Has Delta Arc built this kind of capability before?

Yes. Delta Arc has built an end-to-end research system for machine tools and industrial equipment. It demonstrates independent equipment research, market observations, ownership context and reference architecture, and it follows the same model as an engagement: you arrive, you research, you connect and we assist you.

Does Delta Arc sell machinery?

No. Delta Arc provides research and intelligence. Any external listing or provider relationship should be verified directly with the originating party.

Start with a call

Bring the decision. Leave with a scope.

A 20-minute call establishes whether the problem fits. If it does, the first engagement is a two-week intelligence diagnostic, scoped on that call. No deck, no retainer to get started.
