Airport to the venue

LAX is about 17 miles from the Los Angeles Convention Center. The FlyAway bus runs non-stop from LAX to Union Station, boarding at the blue FlyAway columns on the Lower/Arrivals level. Metro riders use Pico Station, one block from the center. Source

Rideshare

Uber, Lyft and Opoli pick up at LAX-it, next to Terminal 1 at World Way and Sky Way, reached on foot or by LAX-it shuttle from the Lower/Arrivals level. The bureau says LAX-it runs until the Automated People Mover opens in 2026, so confirm the current location on arrival. Source

Taxis

The bureau says taxis pick up at LAX-it, with limited stands outside Terminal 7 and on the ground floor of Parking Structure 3. Taxi dispatch at 310-646-9177 is staffed 24 hours and gives the meeting place. Source

Black car and SUV pickup

The bureau's LAX-it guide says limousines and town cars pick up at the outermost curb on the first level outside baggage claim. Companies shown are those the bureau listed in its guide for the IPW trade show, which may be dated and is not exhaustive. Source

Public transit

Metro C and K Lines and several Metro bus lines reach the LAX/Metro Transit Center. The Metro Connector Shuttle runs from there to the terminals; look for the pink LAX Shuttle sign on the Lower/Arrivals level. Source

Venue site

Parking. The venue lists three garages: West Hall, South Hall and Venice. The West Hall garage is entered via LA Live Way, and Pico Boulevard between Figueroa Street and LA Live Way is closed through March 31, 2028. Source

Transit. Metro's A Line, E Line and J Line serve Pico Station, one block from the center on Figueroa Street. Metro published this guidance for a 2022 event, so confirm current service. Source

Closest lodging. The bureau says twelve hotels are within walking distance of the center. Its Expo Line guide names JW Marriott, The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles, AC/Moxy, Hotel Figueroa and Hotel Indigo near Pico Station. Source
