Parking

A 1,950-space underground garage sits below the center with elevator access, entered from Harbor Drive. A second 2,000-space structure is at Harbor Drive and Park Avenue. Source

Transit

Two MTS Trolley stops sit in front of the San Diego Convention Center. San Diego International Airport is about three miles away, and Santa Fe Depot offers bus and rail service about a mile away. Source

Accessibility

The center lists automatic entrance doors, elevators to all main levels, curb ramps and accessible parking. Assistive listening headsets and stage wheelchair lifts are available on advance request. Source

Where to stay

The venue's facility guide says nearly 14,000 hotel rooms are within a mile and a half. Its parking page places the Hilton Bayfront next to the Park Avenue parking structure. Source

Airports

Airport to the venue

The airport is about three miles from the San Diego Convention Center. The San Diego Flyer shuttle runs from Terminals 1 and 2 to the Admiral Boland Way stop near Middletown Trolley Station, and the Trolley continues to the center. Source

Rideshare

Uber, Lyft, Wingz and PrimeTime are authorized. Terminal 1 riders use the pedestrian crosswalk after baggage claim and follow signs. Terminal 2 riders cross to Transportation Plaza and use the second lane. Source

Taxis

Taxis are at the Transportation Plazas in front of Terminals 1 and 2. Solicitation by drivers is not allowed on airport property, and a ride is authorized only when requested by the passenger or arranged by a taxi dispatch representative. The airport's list is shown below. Source

Black car and SUV pickup

Charter and limousine service is pre-arranged. The airport names no limousine companies and advises confirming that a provider is licensed to pick up at the airport. Source

MTS Route 992 stops at both terminals and runs to downtown, with a downtown stop at Broadway and Kettner Boulevard. Amtrak and COASTER trains arrive at Santa Fe Depot, which connects to Route 992. Source
