Questions worth asking there

A claim at a show is a starting point. These questions help you test it.

  • Is the performance figure measured in the field or modeled, and over how many operating months?
  • Which independent engineer or certification body tested the product, and against which standard?
  • How do degradation, curtailment and availability change the headline output number?
  • Which permitting, interconnection or supply chain step could move the stated timeline, and what is the evidence it will not?
